Tourism in Syria

Ancient Islamic Arab state, the official name of the Syrian Arab Republic as its capital Damascus, has an ancient civilization and the history has gone through several broad historical events through the ages, and has seen many of the facts and events since the Islamic era and now. 

Syria has many archaeological and tourist attractions which come by tourists from different parts of her visits, the most famous of these monuments Great Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, which is one of the most famous Islamic monuments that have remained timeless since ancient Islamic eras. 

The Syrian Arab Republic lies the continent of Asia, on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, bordered on the north by Turkey, Iraq and the Middle, and South Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and the West and the Mediterranean Sea.
